Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

International Journal of Convergence Research in Engineering, Technology & Management (IJCRETM)

1. About the Journal

The International Journal of Convergence Research in Engineering, Technology & Management (IJCRETM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal that publishes original, high-quality research and review articles in the interdisciplinary domains of engineering, technology, and management. The journal aims to promote convergence research that integrates multiple disciplines to address real-world problems and emerging challenges.


2. Scope of the Journal

IJCRETM invites original research articles, review papers, conceptual papers, and case studies in (but not limited to) the following areas:

  • Engineering (All branches)

  • Computer Science & Information Technology

  • Artificial Intelligence, Data Science & Machine Learning

  • Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Systems

  • Cybersecurity and Network Technologies

  • Management Studies (HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations)

  • Business Analytics and Digital Transformation

  • Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Research

  • Emerging Technologies and Innovation Management

Submissions that demonstrate interdisciplinary convergence are strongly encouraged.


3. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

  • Original Research Articles

  • Review Articles

  • Case Studies

  • Conceptual / Theoretical Papers

  • Short Communications (selected areas)


4. Originality and Ethics

  • Manuscripts must be original and not published previously.

  • Submissions must not be under consideration by any other journal or conference.

  • All manuscripts are checked for plagiarism. Papers with plagiarism above acceptable limits will be rejected.

  • Authors must follow ethical research practices and avoid data fabrication or falsification.


5. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

5.1 Language

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear and grammatically correct English.

  • Authors whose first language is not English are advised to have their manuscripts language-checked before submission.


5.2 Manuscript Format

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)

  • Page size: A4

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Font size: 12-point

  • Line spacing: Single-spaced

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

5.3 Structure of the Manuscript

Manuscripts should be arranged in the following order:

  1. Title of the Paper

  2. Author(s) Name(s)

  3. Affiliation(s) (Department, Institution, Country)

  4. Corresponding Author Email ID

  5. Abstract

  6. Keywords

  7. Introduction

  8. Literature Review (if applicable)

  9. Methodology / Materials and Methods

  10. Results and Discussion

  11. Conclusion

  12. Acknowledgements (if any)

  13. References


5.4 Title

  • The title should be concise, clear, and informative.

  • Avoid abbreviations and symbols in the title.


5.5 Abstract

  • Abstract length: 150–250 words

  • Should clearly state:

    • Purpose of the study

    • Methodology

    • Key findings

    • Significance of the research


5.6 Keywords

  • Provide 3–6 keywords

  • Keywords should reflect the core content of the manuscript.


6. Figures, Tables, and Equations

  • Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively.

  • Provide clear captions below figures and above tables.

  • Figures should be of high resolution.

  • All figures and tables must be cited in the text.


7. References and Citation Style

  • References should be relevant and recent.

  • Use a consistent citation style (APA / IEEE preferred).

  • Ensure all cited works are included in the reference list and vice versa.

Example (APA style):
Author, A. A. (Year). Title of the article. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), pages.


8. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted online through the OJS submission system.

  • Authors must complete all required metadata during submission.

  • The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal.


9. Peer Review Process

  • IJCRETM follows a double-blind peer review process.

  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two expert reviewers.

  • Based on reviewers’ comments, manuscripts may be:

    • Accepted

    • Accepted with minor revisions

    • Accepted with major revisions

    • Rejected


10. Copyright and Open Access Policy

  • IJCRETM is an open-access journal.

  • Authors retain copyright of their work.

  • Published articles may be freely accessed, downloaded, and shared with proper citation.


11. Plagiarism Policy

  • Manuscripts must have low similarity index as per journal standards.

  • Self-plagiarism and duplicate publication are strictly prohibited.

  • Papers failing plagiarism checks will be rejected without review.


12. Author Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of data and references.

  • Respond to reviewer comments within the stipulated time.

  • Inform the editor about any conflicts of interest.

All submitted manuscripts are treated as confidential documents. Reviewer identities are protected under the double-blind peer-review process.
